Our state-of-the-art in-house screen printing and embossing shops take care of the graphic design of your products. One example is UV drying in silkscreen printing or the facet of digital printing. We work with trusted specialised companies for offset and flexographic printing. No matter which process you choose, giving you all the technical information you need for the graphic design of your products is one of our core competences.
EICHNER uses conventional screen printing with solvent-based inks. Two different colour systems are possible depending on the material to be printed. Conventional screen printing typically prints using a 28 raster (approx. 72 dpi) with a minimum line width of 0.1 mm. One colour is applied per print process; a pressure screen is required for each colour if more than one colour is used.
Classic offset printing generally refers to printing on paper for products made of laminated (lined) cardboard. With UV offset printing it is possible to print PP film (maximum thickness of 0.8 mm), PVC rigid film and PVC flexible film. 60 raster (approx. 150 dpi) is generally used, but 80/100 raster (approx. 200/250 dpi) is also possible, which creates a much finer print image. Another advantage is multi-colour printing in a single step.
Embossing can be used on PP and PVC as well as on laminated cardboard products. A distinction is made between blind embossing and foil embossing. A die is used in both techniques. One colour can be applied in relief printing; it is frequently used for special colours such as gold or silver.
